Balcony enclosure in Zgierz

Side enclosure for a balcony in Zgierz This is a great example of how aluminium blinds can transform an open balcony into a more private and comfortable space.

We have produced two frames with horizontal slats for our client, which shield the balcony from view from outside whilst giving it a modern look.

Instead of a solid wall, we used aluminium roller shutter frames. This has provided the owners with a screen that does not overwhelm the balcony and blends in well with the building’s architecture. We carried out the entire project in the colour RAL 7016 DS (anthracite), ensuring that the frames and slats match the other elements of the façade.

Would you like to enclose your balcony in a similar way? You don’t need to order a ready-made enclosure with installation included! In our shop, you’ll find the components you need to make your own balcony blinds: aluminium slats, frames, profiles, brackets and DIY kits.

Balcony enclosures in Zgierz – privacy without solid walls

For this project, we tailored two blind frames to the dimensions of the balcony. The larger one, 240 × 276 cm, we divided it into two parts, and the smaller one, 156.8 × 279.5 cm, we carried it out as a single project.

The horizontal arrangement of the slats creates an attractive side screen and helps to maintain the structure’s light, airy appearance. The anthracite-coloured aluminium complements the light-coloured façade well, whilst the simple lines of the frames emphasise the balcony’s modern character.

What are the benefits of this type of development?

• More privacy – you restrict the view of the balcony from neighbouring buildings.
• Protection from the sun and wind – the slats help to reduce direct sunlight and draughts.
• Durability and comfort – Aluminium does not require regular painting or waterproofing.
• Can be assembled by the customer – you choose components to suit your own measurements and create a fitted unit tailored to your balcony.
