Aluminium canopy, 300 cm x 506 cm

The 300 × 506 cm aluminium canopy in Duchnów combines protection from the rain with retractable side panels, allowing the terrace to be better adapted to the sun, wind and privacy requirements. This means the space remains open to the garden, but can be sheltered exactly where and when it is needed.

We constructed the canopy from aluminium in RAL 7016 and covered it with milky multi-wall polycarbonate. The roof provides protection from the rain, whilst the light-coloured covering diffuses the light and does not cast a heavy shadow over the area around the house.

The corner side extension consists of two aluminium frames, 140 × 230 cm. One of the panels is sliding, so you can adjust its position depending on which way the sun is shining or if you need more shade. The frame and handles are in RAL 7016, whilst the slats are in the contrasting RAL 1037.

This solution offers more than just a roof. The roof shelters the terrace from above, the adjustable slats allow you to control the light and privacy, and the sliding frame enhances the functionality of the entire area.

As the sun moves across the sky, there’s no need to stop using the terrace. Simply move the structures to create a more comfortable area exactly where you need it.

The result is a terrace that remains open to the garden, but offers much greater control over the conditions throughout the day.

   The roof, covered with milky-coloured multi-wall polycarbonate, shields the terrace from the rain, so the table and seating area can be used every day, even in less stable weather. This effectively extends the terrace season and makes it easier to plan get-togethers without having to „check the forecast”.
