Aluminium canopy, 346 × 406, Otwock

In Otwock, we installed an aluminium canopy measuring 346 × 406 cm, which created a functional terrace area by the front door. We constructed the structure using RAL 7016 aluminium, ensuring it blended perfectly with the building’s modern design. The roof was made from milky-coloured multi-wall polycarbonate, which effectively protects against the elements whilst providing bright, evenly diffused light beneath the canopy. We finished the whole structure with a circular cover, LED lighting and triangular side panels, whilst the decorative elements were finished in natural teak, which adds warmth to the overall appearance of the structure.

When designing this canopy, we ensured that it would form a natural extension of the house. The dark aluminium profiles in RAL 7016 blend harmoniously with the dark window and door frames, creating a cohesive composition with the façade. The milky-coloured multi-wall polycarbonate provides pleasant, diffused light, ensuring the terrace remains comfortable even on sunny days. The natural teak-coloured finish softens the starkness of the aluminium and lends the whole project a more welcoming, warm character.

What have the owners gained?

A terrace ready for any weather

We have fitted a roof made of milky multi-wall polycarbonate, which effectively protects the terrace from the rain and allows it to be used whatever the weather. The diffused light eliminates harsh shadows, ensuring the space remains bright and comfortable throughout the day.

Comfort even after dark

We have fitted the structure with LED lighting, which means the terrace can also be used in the evening. This allows the owners to host family gatherings, enjoy an al fresco dinner or simply relax after a long day without having to install any additional lighting.

An attractive extension of the living area of the house

The dimensions of 346 × 406 cm have enabled us to create a comfortable relaxation area that seamlessly connects the interior of the house with the garden. The dark structure clearly defines the space leading out onto the terrace and emphasises the modern character of the façade.

Refined details

The circular canopy and triangular side panels make the canopy look like an integral part of the building, rather than an add-on. The natural teak finish lends the structure an air of elegance and blends in well with both the light-coloured façade and the garden’s greenery.
