The balcony cladding in Toruń is an example of how vertical aluminium laths work well not only for terraces, but also for smaller spaces such as loggias and balconies in multi-family housing. Details of balcony development in Toruń

Two independent frames were attached to the balustrade: a smaller one measuring 98 × 150 cm and a larger one measuring 188 × 150 cm. Both frames extend from the railing level to the top edge of the balcony recess. Aluminium laths in a vertical arrangement were used, powder-coated in RAL 7011 - a cool shade of grey that subtly blends in with modern facades. OpenUp handles in RAL 7016 colour provide stability and resistance to changing weather conditions.

This form of development is a practical alternative to glazing - it allows air to circulate freely, while limiting the view from outside, increasing the comfort of the balcony throughout the season.
