Gazebo construction Elk (BSH wood + painted boards) is a lightweight, aesthetically pleasing and practical side extension to a garden shed. The client wanted protection from the wind and more privacy, while maintaining free access to the interior of the gazebo.
For the construction, we used solid wooden frames painted in RAL 9010 Pure White. The light wood blends well with the rest of the garden development, emphasising the lightness of the structure. Each frame measures 264 × 222 cm.
We have used white handles in the built-in OpenUp System (RAL 9003), which allow the boards to move smoothly. This solution makes it easy to regulate the inflow of air and light without disturbing the consistent colour scheme of the whole.
The first segment has been divided into three equal fields, acting as a fixed wall. The second segment consists of four fixed elements and two sliding wings, which can be conveniently moved depending on the user's needs and weather conditions.
The infill of the built-in units consists of white-painted wooden planks (RAL 9010), which match the frames and handles. The sliding wings are fitted with black metal handles for convenience and everyday functionality.
The construction of a gazebo in Ełk is an example of a well-thought-out realisation that combines aesthetics with practical technical solutions. Bright colours, movable panels and solid workmanship make the gazebo more functional without losing the lightness of form.
