For a client in Dębe Wielkie, we built an aluminium pergola with polycarbonate roofing, measuring 317 x 342 cm. We painted the structure in RAL 7016 and covered the roof with anthracite multi-wall polycarbonate. We also concealed the drainage system within the structure, so the gutter remains out of sight and does not detract from the pergola’s modern appearance.
The client wanted to create a space that they could use whatever the weather. The photos of this project best illustrate the result of our work – when it rains, the terrace stays dry and the family can still enjoy the space outside their home.
For this project, we installed a terrace canopy at a modern house featuring a timber façade and dark joinery. We perfectly matched the RAL 7016 colour to the balustrades, windows and other elements of the building.
Anthracite-coloured multi-wall polycarbonate plays the most important role here. The material effectively protects the terrace from the rain, reduces the intensity of direct sunlight and diffuses the light. As a result, it is bright under the pergola, but much more pleasant than under a transparent covering.
The photographs taken during the rain clearly show the difference between the open part of the property and the area under the pergola. Rain falls on the steps, paving stones and garden, whilst the terrace remains dry. In practice, this means you can use garden furniture, enjoy meals or relax even when the weather is unfavourable.
In addition, we have concealed the gutter within the structure. Rainwater flows into the drainage system hidden within the profiles, which is why the pergola retains its clean, modern lines without any visible pipes or traditional gutters.
The canopy we have installed means you can still use the terrace even when it’s raining. The furniture remains sheltered, and the area by the patio doors is not exposed to constant damp.
Anthracite-coloured polycarbonate helps to keep the space under the roof cooler and reduces the amount of harsh light. You can relax comfortably under the pergola, even in the height of summer.
We constructed the pergola from aluminium powder-coated in RAL 7016. This ensures that the structure blends seamlessly with the façade, balustrades and joinery.
In this project, we used a gutter concealed within the structure. The client now benefits from effective water drainage without any visible technical components.
Aluminium does not require any treatment or periodic maintenance. It is designed for long-term outdoor use.
Once the installation was complete, the customer gained an extra outdoor room. The terrace has become a place to relax, spend time with family and enjoy the garden whatever the weather.
In Dębe Wielkie, we installed an aluminium pergola with polycarbonate panelling measuring 317 x 342 cm, which effectively protects the terrace from rain and excessive sunlight.
