• assembly instructions

Kits for the installation of movable wooden blinds can be combined to form larger modules, thanks to the clever handle system.

Assembly:
Tools needed:

- measure
- screwdriver
- metal saw (to cut the handles to size)
- wood saw (for possible trimming of the boards).

NOTE: upon request we cut the boards FREE OF CHARGE. Condition: specify the length to which you want to cut the boards from the kit and number of pieces when placing your order. Cutting accuracy of the boards is: +/- 3 mm.

How does it work? It's simple:

Let's say you want to cover 109.5 cm of your terrace. For this you need brackets (3.5 cm building width) and 106 cm of board. We do not have such a board. We can cut it to size from a board 110 cm long. We just need to know. So please send us this information.

How to look after the boards in your patio blinds

It is essential to impregnate the boards before installation. Use a suitable protective agent for this - designed to protect the wood against fungi and insects. Regularly maintain the wooden components of your movable external blinds. This will ensure their proper durability and appearance. Remove the boards from the brackets before re-impregnation. Then clean and paint with an impregnating agent. When painting, follow the recommendations of the manufacturer of the respective preservative.

Rules for the use of handles for movable external blinds

Otwierane.pl shall not be liable for product defects caused by improper use of the offered products, including the use of boards which are too long (above 110 cm) for the offered fixings and the board cross-section other than 9.8 cm x 2 cm. The customer mounts the boards longer than 110 cm on his own responsibility and the handles used for this purpose are not subject to the warranty. The manufacturer suggests installing the brackets at temperatures above 5 degrees Celsius.
