For regular cleaning, all you need is:
lukewarm water,
a mild detergent (e.g. washing-up liquid),
soft sponge or cloth.
We do not recommend the use of abrasives or pressure washers at very close range.
Under normal conditions of use, cleaning 1-2 times per season is sufficient to keep the laths aesthetically pleasing.
The choice of the type of slats depends on the style of the terrace, the visual expectations and the degree of finish of the overall structure:
Laminates unpainted (raw aluminium)
They are a technical and minimalist choice. They work well in modern, industrial realisations and where the raw character of the material matters.
Powder-coated laths (RAL colour)
The greatest design flexibility. You can perfectly match the colour of the slats to the frame, pergola or building facade. This is the most commonly chosen option for modern terraces.
woodgrain aluminium slats
For those who like the look of wood but do not want its limitations. Woodgrain slats combine a warm visual effect with the durability of aluminium and no need for impregnation.
