Wooden pergola 230 x 430 - functional terraced space

In this realisation, we made a freestanding timber pergola measuring 230 x 430 cm, together with a side development of movable louvres. The entire structure was kept in the warm shade of Remmers Pinia Larch, which harmonises well with the colours of the facade and the wooden accessories in the surroundings.

The wooden pergola was designed as a separate seating area next to a terraced house, where the close proximity of neighbouring terraces required discreet separation. The side walls of movable louvres made of knotless pine not only increase privacy, but also effectively protect against the strong gusts of wind that often occur between the buildings. The milk polycarbonate roof gently diffuses light, creating a pleasant, evenly lit space, ideal for relaxing even in bright sunshine.

  - curled directly onto the beams
