Windbreak Warsaw Italy - a simple solution to bad weather

In Włochy, near Warsaw, we have built a of the OpenUp System movable external blinds A vestibule that shields the entrance to the house from the shading of wind, rain and snow. The enclosure creates a quiet, secluded zone right next to the door, improving the comfort of daily use of the terrace and entrance - especially in autumn and winter. At the same time, the structure does not overwhelm the space and maintains a visually light appearance.

Windscreen Warsaw Italy - technical details

The cover was made entirely of aluminium. We used a 200 × 262.8 cm frame and an additional 120 × 40 mm beam to reinforce the structure. The entire structure was supported on RAL 7016 powder-coated handles, while the frame received a RAL 7016DS finish. The infill consists of aluminium laths in RAL 7001 colour, arranged horizontally. This arrangement guarantees rigidity, durability and stability in high winds.

When closed, they provide shelter in winter and in summer, when the slats are tilted, an airy, attractive openwork is created that lets in light but still protects privacy.
