Top rail for sliding patio doors

The top rail is the basic component of the OpenUp system sliding door system for louvre construction.
In this rail, the carriages that suspend the entire louvre sashes move - the mechanism operates smoothly and quietly, and the rail itself remains almost invisible after installation.

The rail profile is made of aluminium - lightweight, durable and resistant to external conditions. The structure is almost closed - it has a narrow opening in which the carriage slides.
The rail is mounted on dedicated ceiling brackets - available separately in our shop.

Lengths available:

• 150 cm - courier dispatch

• 250 cm - courier dispatch

• up to 400 cm - only personal collection at company headquarters

FAQ - Frequently asked questions

Does the top rail fit the OpenUp blind system?
Yes. This is exactly the rail that is designed for sliding blinds installed on a terrace, balcony or gazebo - the OpenUp system.

Can I fit the rail myself?
Yes - the rail is suitable for mounting on ceiling brackets. Basic tools and accuracy in levelling the guide are required.

Are ceiling brackets included?
No. Ceiling brackets must be purchased separately - you will find them in our shop in the "Sliding system accessories" section.

Can the rail be trimmed?
Yes - the aluminium rail can be cut to the required size yourself.

Are there ready-made mounting holes in the rail?
No - you drill the holes for the brackets yourself, according to the positioning of the ceiling brackets.

Can the rail be painted?
Yes. We offer a powder-coated version in a RAL colour of your choice. The rail can also be supplied raw (unpainted aluminium).

Is it possible to buy a rail longer than 250 cm with delivery?
No. Longer rails (300-400 cm) are only available with personal collection due to transport restrictions of courier companies.
