The enclosure is made of polycarbonate panels permanently mounted in the frame - no sliding elements and no mechanics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is a proposal particularly worth considering where functional space protection, simplicity of use and a reasonable budget are priorities. Permanent polycarbonate cladding is also often chosen for balconies, where the installation of glass is sometimes technically difficult or not cost-effective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Where permanent polycarbonate cladding will work<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Polycarbonate works well <strong>not only on terrace canopies<\/strong>. Depending on the colour chosen, it can also increase the sense of privacy, which is important especially in urban developments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Technical details - permanent polycarbonate terrace cladding<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In our projects we use <strong data-start=\"1803\" data-end=\"1843\">10 mm thick cellular polycarbonate<\/strong>, mounted vertically in a sturdy frame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong data-start=\"1883\" data-end=\"1916\">Technical parameters of the system:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>polycarbonate colours available: <strong>transparent, milky (opal), graphite,<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>thickness of polycarbonate: <strong>10 mm<\/strong>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>maximum frame height: <strong>280 cm<\/strong>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>maximum width of one module: <strong>130 cm<\/strong>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>vertical line layout in polycarbonate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong data-start=\"2167\" data-end=\"2197\">Construction and finishing:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Aluminium frame - can be painted in any RAL colour,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>wooden frame - can be painted in a colour from the manufacturer's sampler,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>mounting profiles and fittings also available in RAL colours.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Each development is made to measure, taking into account the construction of the terrace, pergola or balcony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">When to choose polycarbonate over glass or blinds<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Polycarbonate side panels are a good choice if you want protection from wind and rain, but do not need the ability to open up the walls or the full transparency that glass offers. Polycarbonate allows light to pass through, but - unlike glass - can partially restrict visibility, which is an advantage for many users, especially on balconies and in dense buildings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If maximum visibility into the garden is key, a better option would be to <strong data-start=\"3048\" data-end=\"3080\">fixed glazing on the terrace<\/strong>. If, on the other hand, you want to regulate light and air flow, it is worth considering <strong data-start=\"3159\" data-end=\"3194\">aluminium blinds<\/strong> or sliding systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fixed polycarbonate side panels - pricing and installation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We make each permanent polycarbonate terrace enclosure to size and install it with our own team.
