Movable patio blinds are not always the best solution for every part of the house.
Sometimes the needs of the occupants, the layout of the terrace and the amount of light require a different approach. This is why we are increasingly combining several systems in one implementation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this implementation in Lubowidz, we used two different solutions, tailored to the functions of specific zones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Movable terrace blinds appeared at the entrance to the house. Their purpose was to partially cover the stairs and the entrance area, while maintaining an airy and light form. The adjustable louvres allow visibility from the street to be limited, but do not completely close off the space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the terrace area, on the other hand, we used polycarbonate cladding - both fixed and sliding. This solution works well where you want shelter from wind and rain, but at the same time do not want to lose the natural light on the terrace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We made the whole thing in aluminium construction.
The side development measures 337 \u00d7 247 cm and has been supplemented with a side triangle to match the geometry of the roof. In this way, the whole creates a coherent and orderly development around the terrace and the entrance to the house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is a realisation that demonstrates our working philosophy well:
we match solutions to the way the space is used, not the other way around.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The building form interacts clearly with the body of the building: it guides the building line along the fa\u00e7ade and tidies up the area at the entrance and the terrace. The dark profiles form a clear frame against the light-coloured fa\u00e7ade, while the straight divisions and even edges of the profiles emphasise the modern, structured geometry. The side triangle closes the whole where a standard rectangular module would not coincide with the line of the canopy and the bevel at the edge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What have the owners gained?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Covered terrace corner without \u201eclosing\u201d the space<\/strong>
    \n The side development creates a more private area next to the terrace, making it easier to relax and use the garden furniture closer to home on a daily basis. At the same time, the layout remains visually light, so that the garden continues to provide a natural opening to the space.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. More convenient communication along the fa\u00e7ade<\/strong>
    \n The side screen tidies up the utility line at the house and clearly separates the transition zone and the relaxation area. In this way, the terrace and the access along the fa\u00e7ade act as a single, coherent outdoor living space.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Adaptation to the building geometry thanks to the side triangle<\/strong>
    \n The side triangle facilitates an aesthetically pleasing and functional closure of the development edge where the bevel appears. It is a detail that maintains line continuity and avoids accidental \u201ebreaks\u201d in the casing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Durability and less handling thanks to aluminium<\/strong>
    \n The aluminium structure and frame perform well in outdoor conditions and its stability helps to maintain a repeatable built-in geometry for years to come. This is a practical solution for a heavily used area next to the house.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Added value for real estate<\/strong>
    \n The separation of a functional, sheltered terrace area increases the usability of the home space and tidies up the garden-side elevation. This type of elaborate development is a real asset for the subsequent sale or rental of the house.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    This realisation combines the function of a side screen with a fit with the architecture of the building and the layout of the terrace. The simple geometry of the aluminium profiles and the well-thought-out side triangle organise the zone at the fa\u00e7ade and facilitate the daily use of the outdoor space. This is a realisation where functionality goes hand in hand with form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
