We realised a project for a wooden terrace canopy in Zielonka near Warsaw. The structure was matched to the modern architecture of the house, creating a functional space for relaxation. The canopy effectively protects against intense sun and precipitation, allowing the terrace to be used whatever the weather.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The dimensions of the canopy are 2.9m wide by 3.5m long. The structure, made of wood, has been treated with Tikkurila Valtti Opaque full-coverage treatment to ensure durability and weather resistance. The roof was made of milky polycarbonate, which diffuses light and reduces heat build-up on the terrace. A white aluminium louvre was installed across the 90 cm width, providing additional side protection.
The terrace floor is teak-coloured composite decking, which blends in perfectly with the light-coloured canopy structure and the natural elements of the garden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The wooden canopy in Zielonka is an option for those who value comfort as well as aesthetics. The structure provides shelter from the sun and rain, and thanks to the use of polycarbonate, the terrace remains bright and cosy.
The side panels made of movable slats allow the light inlet to be adjusted, and the composite boards create a comfortable and easy-to-maintain surface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
